Perfect veggie burger

That's what Taste of america said, I'm happy because this burger was selected as the winner with 9 more submissions in the Perfect burger competition through canalacocina website last month here in Spain. What can I say, I'm really excited, is my first time winning a cooking competition and I got my first medal I placed in the blog's side bar.

The trick of this recipe is to misleading the perception, if you see the picture you probably think is grounded meat, even taste like a meat, better than meat, and is funny the reaction when I say that are lentils.

Mediterranean veggie burger with satlziki sauce

2 cups lentils soaked 2 hours minimum
1/2 red pepper chopped
1/2 cup fresh coriander leaves chopped
bread for the burger
1 teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspon cumin grounded

for the saltziki:
1 cucumber finely chopped
black pepper to taste
olive oil
1 tablespoon lemon juice

tada!!! enjoy it!

this is the prize in case you wonder, a basket of products from Taste in America shop, and instriction how to make a sheetcake, im gonna make it for sure :)

And tank you!

Hola Kike, encantada de conocerte, yo tampoco suelo hacer muchos muffis ni dulces ni salados, mi cocina es vegetariana y como tu tengo publicada una receta de burguer vegetariana, en mi caso de garbanzos.
Un saludo
